Located deep in a desert wasteland, The Nexus Tower holds the means for instant
travel to other lands and locations via teleportation portals. Can the tower only be
found or accessed by those who are worthy? Do the portals require special
components or incantations to be activated, and does each one lead to a different
location? Or are the circular ones outbound and their coloured counterparts inbound,
or vice versa? Do the locations remain fixed, or do they randomly shift, sending
unsuspecting travelers far from their intended destination?

Great job! the atmosphere is nice and I love that, although using bright colors for the magic circles, the composition still feels harmonious. Are you planning on doing the other floors of the tower as well?

Thank you!  This was my first attempt at a building interior (not counting the couple dungeons/sewers I've done), so I'm really glad you like it!  :D

There's really just one floor, although, after reading your comment, I realize I probably should have included a ground/entrance level.  But I didn't make notes on how I manipulated the wall texture, so I'm not sure if I'd be able to replicate it.  I also didn't save the outside ground texture without the depth blur effect.  Grrr!  CURSE YOU!

If I do any more interiors like this, that are (or could possibly be) multi-level, I'll have to be more careful about saving my base textures, and making notes on how I achieved certain effects and such.  :P

ahahah (I didn't even know the "shake your fist at the gods" emoticon existed!)
Yeah, I can relate to that. Had the same problem doing a ship map and realizing I had skipped one of the levels. I had converted into raster the layers on the other ones and thus I didn't know how to set the shading/lighting effects. Sucks when that happens!
However, as your first building interior attempt, this certainly looks promising. Bravo!

I didn't either!  Was looking for a "smacks forehead" emote, but this one works just as well.  Haha! :D

Yeah, it's so frustrating when you need to go back to a previous stage of your work and realize you didn't save it.  Ugh!  I'm usually pretty good about saving my work as sequentially numbered files as I progress, but occasionally I still screw up.  :P

Thanks again! :D
